Werner Van Rensburg

Attorney & Conveyancer

Werner holds a BA degree from the University of Stellenbosch and a BProc from UNISA. He began his legal career after completing his Legal School training in 1996. In 1997 he was appointed as a candidate attorney at Hurly & Kukkuk Inc, where he was later promoted to professional assistant in 1998.

In April 1999 Werner founded Werner van Rensburg Attorneys, establishing a practice built on expertise, integrity, and client-focused service. He has since completed advanced courses in contract law, conveyancing, business rescue, insolvent estates, mediation and labour law. In 2008 he was admitted as a Conveyancer, further strengthening the firm’s property law offering.

Liezel Koen

Attorney, Conveyancer & Notary

Liezel earned her BCom LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 1993. She began her legal career as a legal advisor for the Surgeon General, where she spent four years specializing in medical, humanitarian and contract law. In 1998 she joined SASOL (Pty) Ltd as a legal advisor and was admitted as both a Notary and Conveyancer that same year.

Liezel later joined Ludik & Booysen Attorneys, where she led the conveyancing department and was offered a partnership. She ultimately chose to pursue her own vision by establishing Liezel Koen Attorneys, focusing on delivering expert property law services with a client-centered approach.

Hlubi Radebe

Attorney, Conveyancer & Notary

Hlubi brings decades of diverse legal experience to the team. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the National University of Lesotho (1983), a Bachelor of Law degree (Hons) from the same institution (1987), an LLB degree from the University of Zimbabwe (1991) and an LLM degree in International Law from Rand Afrikaans University (1997). He also completed an Executive Management Diploma at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in 2005.

Admitted by the Transvaal Law Society in 1995 as an attorney, conveyancer and notary, Hlubi has practiced extensively across both the public and private sectors. His current focus areas include contract law, international law and contracts, property law and the administration of deceased estates.
